This Privacy Policy explains how Crew ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the Crew mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address and the profile details you provide (such as your city and country). Authentication is handled by our identity provider.

Activity information. When you host or join an activity we store the details you enter — activity type, location, time, pace and related notes — and your participation.

Location. With your permission, we use your device location to show activities near you. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.

Usage and device data. We collect basic technical information needed to operate and secure the Service, and a push token if you enable notifications.

How we use information

We use your information to provide the Service — showing relevant activities, connecting you with other participants, sending reminders and notifications you opt into, keeping the Service safe, and complying with legal obligations.

What others can see

Crew is a social product. Your name, profile and the activities you host or join are visible to other users according to each activity's visibility setting. Do not share information you do not want other participants to see.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting, authentication and notification providers), and where required by law.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, control notifications, block other users, and delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your profile and cancels activities you host.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it in line with our obligations.
